1A Driver – Truss & Wall Panel Delivery – Casual (Hourly)
Starting Wage: $25/hour
Warman Truss is currently looking for an experienced 1A driver to deliver truss and wall panels to our customers. We pride ourselves on the service that we provide to our customers so a professional and friendly attitude is a must-have.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a valid 1A driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Available to be on call with a desire to work long hours during peak (summer) months
- Confident and experienced in securing and hauling wide loads
- Roller deck experience preferred (but not required)
- Knowledge of building materials and/or previous lumber yard experience is an asset, but on-site training will be provided to the successful candidate
Physical requirements for the above listed positions:
- The ability to lift 50/80 pounds regularly
- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain
- The ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- The ability/desire to work longer hours during the summer months
This position is safety-sensitive, and the successful candidate must adhere to a drug-free workplace policy. Drug testing may be required in certain situations as per health and safety policies.
