Cabinet Assembler

The Cabinet Assembler is responsible for constructing, assembling, and finishing cabinets according to detailed specifications and production plans. This role requires a strong attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

This is a hands-on job that will require you to be physically fit and keep pace with an assembly line. The position is safety-sensitive, and the successful candidate must adhere to a drug/alcohol-free workplace policy. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like hearing protection and steel toed boots are required on the job-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembling Cabinets – Constructing cabinets according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Material Preparation – Cutting, sanding, and shaping materials such as wood or composite materials for assembly.
  • Hardware Installation – Mounting hinges, handles, and other hardware components as required.
  • Quality Control – Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Team Collaboration – Working with a team to ensure efficient production and assembly line operation while respectably maintaining a clean and safe workspace for all.
  • Safety Compliance – Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Problem-solving – Addressing any issues or defects during the assembly process.
  • Non-Essential Job Responsibilities include maintenance – performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment.

Job Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of woodworking techniques
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
  • Ability to understand blueprints and measurements
  • Excellent attention to detail

 Available shifts include:

  • Day shift — Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • Night shift — Monday-Thursday 2:00pm-12:00am (+$1.50/hr shift premium)
