Warman Cabinets, a division of Warman Home Centre LP is accepting applications for a talented and creative Cabinet Designer.
This position takes a vision from original customer concept to fabrication, integrates field measurements accurately and works through details with production including using Cabinet Vision software to design and prepares the job for manufacturing.
The Cabinet Designer is responsible for quoting jobs as well as ensuring the product meets the client’s expectations from the start of the project to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with customers to discuss their needs and wants; work with them on their projects from concept through completion. Excellent customer service skills required.
- Take jobs from concept to design phase using Cabinet Vision software.
- Prepare quotations for customers, proven math skills are necessary.
- Integrate field measurements accurately into designs.
- Communicate with contractors and suppliers to coordinate the efficient production of all projects.
Qualifications:
- Must be computer-savvy and willing to learn how to use Cabinet Vision software.
- Attention to detail as well as highly organized.
- Must have great communication skills and excellent personality to build relationships and coordinate projects with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Must be willing to go above and beyond for customers to provide them with high-quality customer service.
- Previous experience in the design or construction industry is a definite asset, but not required.
