Warman Home Centre is seeking a full time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to assist with our increased business volumes.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in ensuring customers are taken care of. Individual needs to have a professional and friendly disposition as they will serve as the first line of contact for our respected and valued customer base.   

What you will be doing: 

  • Welcome visitors, customers and vendors with professionalism & enthusiasm 
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls through a multi-line phone system 
  • Manage appointment scheduling and calendars 
  • Process accounts payable and assist with administrative tasks such as filing, and document preparation 
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries 
  • Maintain a professional, organized and welcoming reception area 
  • Provide information and support to clients and visitors 
  • Assist team members with various administrative projects as required 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Minimum 12 months of reception, office administration or related experience, or post-secondary education in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field 
  • Experience with accounts payable processes 
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail 
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities 
  • Experience operating a multi phone line system 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while multi-tasking under minimal supervision 
  • Dependable, punctual and committed to maintaining a high level of professionalism 

Position Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
